Food Insecurity Research & Workshops
Food insecurity is a multidimensional human-rights challenge affecting communities in both poorer and wealthier societies. We conduct food-insecurity research and train teams and community members as co-researchers through a series of workshops to understand its causes, strengthen social capital, and improve quality of life.
Overview
Food insecurity is a major challenge today in many societies around the world. We tend to hear about and think about this more in conflict zones and poorer countries, but do not often think about food insecurity in more developed nations where varying kinds of food insecurity exist. This human rights issue does not only exist in poor communities but can also be experienced in wealthy communities. It is a fundamental issue that needs to be understood in all its dimensions. Our work focuses on helping people to identify and strengthen their social capital to understand this issue that is affecting the quality of life of the people of their community.
We will do this food insecurity research for you, as well as work with your team and community members to train them as co-researchers through a series of workshops.
In every service we offer, our core process is always based on collaboratively working with you to co-create the path forward and training your team in collaborative research and analysis. We are not consultants who just come in, solve your problems and then leave.

6 Free Hours
Six free one-hour consultations whenever you need us during the nine-month period.
After the six hours, we are at your service for our hourly fee. Notwithstanding this hourly fee, on principle we are here to always support you, so we are open to negotiating flat fees for consulting.
